These fish pods, made entirely out of Trimax Structural Lumber were designed for use in the ocean as a method of growing fish.
Young fish are placed in these pods, which are suspended beneath the surface of the water. After several months, the pods are retrieved and the fish are harvested.
This is an extremely successful method of growing fish due to the Trimax not growing or facilitating the growth of bacteria. Steel was used in the past, but steel is heavy and the saltwater caused the pods to prematurely rust. Trimax has been the most durable and economical and environmentally friendly option found.
